First thing came up on my head when I finally landed in Taiwan was "Oh Dear Allah, I am finally here in a country that I dont even know a single word of its language". It is funny for me somehow🤣
Da-feng Elementary School Taipei Taiwan

So this school is located in No. 108 Minzu road Xindian District New Taipei city 231 Taiwan. It consists of 60 classes from grade 1 to grade 6 with a total of 1800 students. It has around 105 teachers and 25 staff including in academic, conselling, accountant, and finance. For me this school is quite big for an elementary school. It is also completed with full facilities both for teachers to teach and for students to study.
........
As I was majored in education which leads me to be a teacher and getting a chance to teach in such big school really taught me in developing my skills on how to be a good teacher.

My project took place in Da-feng Elementary School. The school officer directly escorted me to meet the principal of the school on my first day. I was really glad to meet him. He was unable to speak English well, yet I could understand his point quitely. I must admit that he is such a nice person ♥️

Christmas Day Celebration
Christmas Day Celebration
Christmas day in school. Well, I am a muslim, some people say that muslims are not allowed to celebrate christmas. In contrary for me, I was in part in their event because I respect their believe, but thats not of course made me convert into Christian. This is another point that I learn from my experience during my stay in Taiwan, a non-muslim country, that be more respect to each other is something we can necessarily implement in our life as a human being.

However of course there are some pros and cons of anything, but If I have to mention them, then I would say these below:
Things in pros:
📌Meeting new people, learning new culture, tasting different foods, and experienceing global atmosphere are things that will never be able to bought by money.
📌Increasing your nasionalism. It is undeniable when you represent your county to another country. The proud-feeling will increase automatically from within.
📌Be more open-minded person. Trust me when you are in new situation and condition which lead you to learn how to survive and to accept the difference around you. Also, you be more respect to the differences you are facing. It is, therefore, you will become a globally open-minded person.
📌Building networking. Have you ever imagined to be a place where no one knows you, where you're totally a stranger in that place?. That condition will force you to communicate and to miggle with the new people you meet, get to know them better and be close to them. Then one day you come to visit either that place or another place, then you the people you met before from you adventure, then you gonna feel that this world is so small. Thats we call networking.

Things in cons:
📌As muslim, going to a non-muslim country is normal to find out that wordhip place is limited (Bahkan saya tidak pernah mendengar adzan selama di Taiwan haha).
📌Only tissue available in Toilet. Well, this one might normal for most people, yet it is quite abnormal for me since we, Indonesian need water to clean up after pee.

However, If I have to describe my feeling into one sentence, I will surely say that the only way to learn something better is by getting yourself get through it.

Is that it? NO. Another story of my experience in Taiwan will follow 😉😚
